This material softens at 70 degrees Celsius and returns to its original shape when cooled. However, the water you use can seep into the bowl and remain trapped inside when it cools.
For the health of both our skin and our shaving brushes, even though it is resistant to hot water, please use it at more reasonable temperatures.
